Hardwicke Bay is a small seaside settlement located on the western side of the Yorke Peninsula, in South Australia.
The community was originally established in the 1950’s as a fishing shack area with a row of seafront beach shacks. ’Southshore’ is an absolute beachfront house with a large extended deck looking directly west to the spectacular sunsets.
Pristine sheltered sandy beaches
What to do
Around Hardwicke Bay you can fish directly from the beach, swim in the sheltered waters, explore the sand dunes, play beach cricket, relax on the deck or go for long walks on the pristine sandy beaches.
From Hardwicke Bay you can easily visit Innes National Park, explore lighthouses at Corny Point and Cape Spencer, examine the Ethel Beach ship wreck, visit the towns of Edithburgh and Stansbury and reach great fishing beaches, coves and marinas.
And there are plenty of other things to do and explore in and around the township.
